Little Theatre Film Fest ’15

1t

We made films on our smart phones! Almost any subject was accepted. Here’s the kicker, though: the video must be geared towards our NSHS community. Film teams needed to consider issues of staff, students, teachers, admin, coaches, custodians, particular departments, clubs, or teams.

The film must address a problem or a question here at NSHS AND offer solutions.

Many students shot and edited their films using their smartphones. Our project info is here. The movie rubric is here.

All films were uploaded; you will see a variety of subjects, styles and quality of films. The measure of our success is this:

  • Does it solve a problem or address an issue here at NSHS?
  • Is the message clear?

  1. I enjoyed watching James, Joseph, and Josh performance because I didn’t know what to expect if I wanted to try out for a team next year. After watching the performance I learned that I needed to be on time and have a grade check ready. I really like many of these films, they are really helpful for many students with similar problems

  2. I learned that making a film takes a lot of time and planning before hand really helps! My group used theatre skills when we were quiet while other were recording

  3. There was a lot of great films! Some of them were really funny. My group did ours about how to dress up for spirit week and our film had all of the requirements i believe. I would love to do this again some day! It was a fun experience!

  4. My group and myself did it about how to do a presentation in front of a class . This project helped me out by facing a problem for example being shy and nervous . These reactions do not let you do the best of all . Don’t you think this is true !
